Job summary

ProSource Group is inviting applications for a Site Manager role on a Galway project with a leading Main Building Contractor. You will oversee on-site construction activities, ensure quality and safety compliance, and keep project documentation in order to facilitate progress.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in similar roles, experience on pharma projects is an advantage, and fluency in English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing all on-site construction activities.
• Implementing all project related quality procedures.
• Implementing all quality and safety procedures, ensuring compliance by personnel and sub-contractors.
• Ensuring documentation is in place to allow works to proceed.
• Ensuring construction schedules are agreed with the client and progress monitored to meet targets.
• Monitoring non-conformances and ensuring reports are completed and reviewed within two weeks.
• Maintaining client relationships and ensuring commitments are met.
• Allocating materials, plant, subcontractors and labour to meet target dates.
• Ensuring project is built on or below tender budget and communicating scope changes for approval.

ProSource are recruiting a Site Manager on behalf of their client who are leading Main Building Contractor for a project in Galway.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to;

• Managing all on site construction activities.
• Implementing all project related quality procedures.
• Implementing all quality and safety procedures, and ensuring that all personnel and sub-contractors are in compliance with these procedures.
• Making sure that all documentation is in place to allow works to proceed.
• Ensuring that agreed construction schedules are in place and agreed with the client before commencement, and monitoring progress to ensure that relevant targets are achieved.
• Monitoring non-conformances and ensuring that relevant reports are completed and reviewed with construction director within two weeks of occurrence.
• Maintaining client relationships, and ensuring that all commitments made are achieved.
• Ensuring that all materials, plant, sub-contractors and labour are allocated to the project in sufficient time to ensure that target dates are met.
• Making sure that the project is constructed on or below the budget amount provided at tender stage. To ensure that all scope changes are communicated back to the project manager and approval is obtained prior to commencement of scope change site activity.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;

• 5 Years+ in a related role.
