Job summary

NexVentur is recruiting an experienced Site Manager to join a leading Irish main contractor delivering large-scale construction projects in Kildare. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, manage subcontractors, coordinate site teams and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Site Manager in construction.
• Proven experience with a main contractor environment.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, health & safety and quality management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Ensure works align with project specifications, programme and quality standards.
• Maintain high health and safety standards across the site.
• Review RAMS and manage site compliance.
• Coordinate site logistics including welfare facilities, access routes and deliveries.
• Monitor progress against programme and identify delays or risks.
• Maintain site records, reports, diaries and quality documentation.
• Oversee QA/QC processes including inspections and NCR close-outs.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and statutory bodies.
• Support BIM processes and digital construction systems.
• Provide leadership and guidance to site teams and subcontractors.

NexVentur are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading Irish main contractor delivering large-scale construction projects in Kildare.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a highly regarded contractor and play a key role in the successful delivery of major projects.

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day site operations, managing subcontractors, coordinating site teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the management and coordination of site activities from construction through to completion.

Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, you will ensure that health & safety, quality, programme and commercial requirements are achieved across the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
• Ensure all works are delivered in line with project specifications, programme and quality standards
• Maintain the highest standards of health & safety across the site
• Implement safe systems of work, review RAMS and manage site compliance
• Coordinate site logistics including welfare facilities, access routes and deliveries
• Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays or risks
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, diaries and quality documentation
• Manage QA/QC processes including inspections, ITPs and NCR close-outs
• Ensure works are completed to the highest standard of workmanship
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and statutory bodies
• Support BIM processes and digital construction systems
• Provide leadership and guidance to site teams and subcontractors

Skills & Experience Required

• 5+ years’ experience working as a Site Manager within the construction industry
• Proven experience with a main contractor environment
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, health & safety and quality management
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site operations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving ability
