Job summary

Search Talent is recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to lead a high-profile commercial project in Dublin 2. You will own day-to-day delivery, coordinating engineers, subcontractors and the commercial team to hit programme milestones while maintaining safety and quality.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and design teams to resolve buildability issues and drive continuous improvements on site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality inspections, snagging and close-out of works.
• Maintain communication with the site team, subcontractors, consultants and client representatives.

Search Talent is partnering with an established Irish main contractor to appoint an experienced Site Manager for a high-profile commercial construction project in the heart of Dublin 2.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager who enjoys taking real ownership of delivery and wants to work on a technically demanding city-centre project with an experienced construction team.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of works on site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to an excellent standard.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, engineers, commercial team, design team and specialist subcontractors to drive the programme and maintain quality throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily construction activities on site.

• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Site Manager, Senior Site Manager, Construction Manager or experienced Section Manager with a main building contractor.
• Strong experience delivering commercial, office, hotel, healthcare, education or other large-scale building projects.
• Excellent knowledge of construction sequencing and subcontractor management.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and quality requirements.
• Ability to drive programme and maintain momentum on a demanding project.
• Confident managing multiple trades and specialist subcontractors.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience working on constrained or city-centre projects would be particularly advantageous.
