Global Professional Consultants seeks a Site Manager to lead a 500+ unit residential project in Cork City. The role involves coordinating on-site activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and standards.

The successful candidate will have a civil/construction degree, 5–7 years of site management experience on housing projects in Ireland or the UK, and a strong health & safety background. A full driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5–7 years experience as Site Manager or Senior Site Engineer on residential or building projects in Ireland or the UK.
• Proven experience managing large housing developments or multi-unit projects.
• Excellent understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Fluent English and eligible to work in Ireland.
• Full driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and manage all day-to-day operations on site, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Monitor quality control and compliance with project specifications, building regulations, and company standards.
• Assist with planning and scheduling construction activities, including resource allocation and site logistics.
• Maintain detailed site records and produce progress reports for senior management and clients.
• Ensure health & safety standards are implemented and adhered to at all times.
• Lead site meetings and liaise with clients, design teams, and project stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior site staff and engineers.

Site Manager Residential Projects Cork City

A Site Manager is required for a well-established Main Building Contractor to work on a 500+ unit residential project in Douglas, Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager to join a reputable company and take a key role in overseeing the delivery of large-scale housing developments. The successful candidate will have strong experience working with main contractors in Ireland or the UK and be confident in managing all aspects of the site.

Duties:

• Oversee and manage all day-to-day operations on site, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Monitor quality control and compliance with project specifications, building regulations, and company standards.

• Excellent understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and site management software.
• Fluent English and eligible to work in Ireland.
• Full driving licence.
