Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Site Manager/Project Manager for a large Waterford housing project comprising apartments, duplexes and houses. You will lead activities from tender through construction to handover, coordinating with the team and stakeholders to meet timeline and budget.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of site management experience in housing development in Ireland or the UK, with a proven track record on 40+ unit schemes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of site management experience in housing projects.
• Experience with high-volume housing (40+ units) is highly advantageous.
• Proven track record of delivering large, high-quality housing ventures in Ireland or the UK.
• Strong leadership and attention to detail; good communication in English; eligible to work in Ireland.

Responsabilités

• Oversee project progress from tender through to handover, ensuring schedule and budget compliance.
• Coordinate with quantity surveyors and broader team to manage the project budget.
• Prepare comprehensive project plans covering scheduling, program management, and risk assessment.
• Ensure effective information dissemination to site teams and stakeholders.
• Directly and indirectly supervise the site team to meet the planned timeline.

Due to continued growth, new contracts and an extensive pipeline of work, one of Ireland’s top Developer/Builders are hiring a Site Manager/Project Manager for a large project in Waterford. This project consists of a mix of apartments, duplexes and houses. There is also a second site with 89 houses to be built.

Duties

• Ensure that all project activities adhere to established planning, health and safety, and environmental standards, while maintaining a commitment to high-quality outcomes.
• Take on the comprehensive responsibility for the project’s progress, commencing from the tender stage and extending through construction to the final handover.
• Collaborate with the broader team, including quantity surveyors, to effectively manage and monitor the project budget.
• Put together comprehensive project plans, encompassing elements such as scheduling, program management, and risk assessment.
• Serve as the conduit for vital information dissemination to site teams, crucial stakeholders, and collaborative partners within your assigned project area.
• Oversee the site team, both directly and indirectly, to ensure that the project is executed according to the planned timeline

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Site Management roles within the purview of either a primary contractor or a developer.
• Prior exposure to high-volume housing projects is highly advantageous, particularly those encompassing 40 units or more.
• Well-documented history of successful oversight in the management of extensive, high-quality housing ventures, whether within Ireland or the UK.
• Adept at spearheading and guiding teams effectively.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory, and eligibility to work in Ireland is a requisite.
• Experience in groundworks and site development processes would be viewed as a valuable asset

Salary

• Salary circa €80k – €90k NEG DOE
