Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a pharma project in Athlone. You will take full ownership of day-to-day site operations, ensuring works progress safely and to programme, reporting to the Project Manager on site.

The role requires leading subcontractors and site staff across trades, monitoring quality, cost, and schedule, and enforcing site Health and Safety in line with pharma procedures. A strong contractor background is essential.

Site Manager

Site Manager required for a Tier 1 Main Contractor to work on a pharma project in Athlone. Our client is specifically looking for an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of day-to-day site operations on this technically demanding build. The successful Site Manager will report to the Project Manager on site.

Role:

• Take full ownership of day-to-day site management, ensuring works progress safely and to programme.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, general foremen, and site staff across all trades.
• Monitor quality, cost, and programme performance, escalating risks where needed.
• Lead site Health and Safety, ensuring full compliance with site-specific and pharma-related procedures.
• Liaise with the design team, client representatives, and project management on delivery matters.
• Support planning and sequencing of works on a technically demanding pharma programme.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally with pharma or other highly regulated/technical project experience
• Strong background with a main contractor
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
