Job summary

STRIVE Search is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a life sciences interior fit-out project in Limerick, Ireland. You will oversee the safe delivery of the works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs and safety standards while coordinating with subcontractors and the client team.

This role requires strong leadership, experience with cleanroom or white-wall environments, and a proven track record in interior fit-out projects.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage the safe delivery of the project in line with company safety principles.
• Provide information, instruction and training to operatives and subcontractors.

• Ensure works align with latest drawings and project specs.
• Inspect works to meet quality requirements and standards.
• Develop environmental management plans where required.
• Maintain strong client and project team relationships.
• Oversee day-to-day site activities in line with company procedures.
• Deliver the project on time and within budget.

A leading international construction specialist is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a life sciences fit-out project in Limerick.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and successful delivery of the interior fit-out project, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the safe delivery of the project in line with company safety principles
• Ensure appropriate information, instruction and training is provided to operatives and subcontractors
• Review subcontractor documentation including task planning, risk assessments, training, resources and supervision
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with the latest approved drawings and project specifications
• Inspect works to ensure compliance with quality requirements
• Develop and implement environmental management plans where required
• Maintain strong working relationships with the client and wider project team
• Manage day-to-day site activities in a professional manner and in line with company systems and procedures
• Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards

Key Skills

• Previous experience as a Site Manager
• Essential experience in cleanroom, cold room or white wall construction
• Experience working on interior fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, best practice, technologies and materials
• Experience managing subcontractors and site operatives
• Strong understanding of health and safety, risk assessments and safe systems of work
• Ability to interpret drawings and ensure works comply with specifications
• Experience with quality control and inspections
• Knowledge of measurement and valuation
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills
