Job summary

John Paul Construction is seeking a Site Logistics Manager for Dublin-based projects. You will plan, coordinate and oversee all site logistics, ensuring efficient movement of labour, materials, plant and equipment across the project.

You will work with the Project Team and subcontractors to maintain milestones, promote a safe site, manage access and deliveries, and lead initiatives to improve productivity and site efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years’ Site Management experience
  • Previous Main Contractor experience ideally large-scale commercial/residential/mixed-use development projects experience beneficial
  • Third level qualification or Trades background (Excellent knowledge of Trades)
  • IT skills – knowledge of Microsoft software
  • Excellent delegation and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and to collaborate with others

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and manage all site logistics activities to ensure the efficient movement of labour, materials, plant and equipment across the project.

  • Monitor and coordinate logistics resources to ensure works are carried out efficiently and in line with project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, company policies and site-specific logistics plans at all times.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and site stakeholders to promote collaboration and positive site culture.
  • Identify and resolve logistical challenges proactively, implementing solutions that improve site efficiency, productivity and safety
