Job summary

John Paul Construction is seeking a Site Logistics Manager for Dublin-based projects. The role focuses on coordinating all site logistics, enabling smooth movement of labour, materials, plant, and equipment while upholding safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have 7-10 years of site management experience, substantial main contractor exposure, and a solid trades background. The position offers a competitive package and company benefits. Dublin-based and permanent staff.

Qualifications

• Main Contractor experience on large-scale commercial/residential/mixed-use projects is beneficial
• Trades background with excellent knowledge of trades

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage all site logistics to move labour, materials, plant and equipment efficiently
• Oversee site access, traffic, deliveries, storage and welfare facilities for safe operations
• Collaborate with Project Team, subcontractors and supply chain to meet milestones and minimise disruption
• Monitor logistics resources to ensure works run efficiently and per project requirements
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations and site logistics plans
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and site stakeholders to promote collaboration
• Identify and resolve logistical challenges to improve site efficiency and safety

Due to continued expansion, we require aSite Logistics ManagerforDublin-basedprojects.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and manage all site logistics activities to ensure the efficient movement of labour, materials, plant and equipment across the project.

• Oversee site access, traffic management, deliveries, storage areas and welfare facilities to support safe and productive operations.

• Work closely with the Project Team, subcontractors and supply chain partners to maintain programme milestones and minimise site disruptions.

• Monitor and coordinate logistics resources to ensure works are carried out efficiently and in line with project requirements.

• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, company policies and site-specific logistics plans at all times.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and site stakeholders to promote collaboration and positive site culture.

• Identify and resolve logistical challenges proactively, implementing solutions that improve site efficiency, productivity and safety.

• 7-10 years’ Site Management experience

• Previous Main Contractor experience ideally large-scale commercial/residential/mixed-use development projects experience beneficial

• Third level qualification or Trades background (Excellent knowledge of Trades)

• IT skills – knowledge of Microsoft software

• Excellent delegation and organisational skills

• Ability to work well within a team and to collaborate with others
