Job summary

EBARA Precision Machinery Europe (EPME) is seeking a skilled professional to lead installation and qualification activities for our semiconductor systems at customer sites. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and ensure on-time delivery in line with OEM specs.

The role requires at least 5 years in system service or project management within semiconductors, strong leadership and communication, and willingness to travel 10–25%.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 5+ years in system service, project management, field service, assembly or operations in semiconductor industry.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Experience in team building and change management.
• Analytical, structured and process-oriented.
• Basic knowledge of quality management and EHS.
• Willing to travel 10-25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise installation and qualification technicians and engineers at customer site.
• Coordinate installation, qualification and warranty-repair activities to handover of fully functional systems.
• Plan team schedules, manage time-off requests and address staffing gaps.
• Monitor project progress, milestones and team KPIs; recommend corrective actions when deadlines or targets are at risk.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete and submitted on time.
• Respond to customer issues and escalations, working with the Account Team and relevant internal teams to resolve them.
• Oversee team safety, ensure EHS requirements are followed and keep safety training up to date.
• Monitor staffing forecasts and support discussions with the customer about contracted headcount.
• Contribute to field-service processes and oversee their implementation.
• Act as a product-level expert for tool-down escalations.
• Manage site-level field service budgets, expenses and P&L performance.
• Support the training and development of direct reports.
