Job summary

EBARA Precision Machinery Europe (EPME) invites an on-site Field Service Engineer to work directly on CMP planar semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom fab. You will install, upgrade, repair and maintain CMP systems, travelling to customer sites as needed.

The role requires hands-on proficiency with mechanical, electrical and PLC software, ability to read drawings, and willingness to work day/night shifts in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Higher Certificate/Apprenticeship (NFQ level 6) in a technical field with 3+ years’ experience in a HVM environment.
• Or an Ordinary Bachelor’s Degree (NFQ level 7) in a technical field with 1+ year experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, repair and maintain CMP capital equipment in a cleanroom.
• Analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on CMP systems.
• Read and understand technical drawings and schematics for issue resolution.
• Manage spare parts and report system performance weekly.
