Job summary

EBARA Precision Machinery Europe (EPME) is seeking a seasoned service and project leader to supervise installation and qualification technicians and engineers at customer sites across Europe. You will coordinate activities, plan schedules, monitor milestones and ensure safety and compliance, while managing budgets and P&L for field service.

The role requires a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and at least 5 years in system service or project management within the semiconductor

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years' experience in system service, project management, field service, assembly or operations in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Experience in team building and change management.

• Basic knowledge of quality management and EHS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise installation and qualification technicians and engineers at customer sites.

• Plan team schedules, manage time-off requests and staffing gaps.
• Monitor project progress, milestones and KPIs; suggest corrective actions.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
• Respond to customer issues and escalations with internal teams.
• Oversee team safety and EHS training up to date.
• Monitor staffing forecasts and discuss headcount with the customer.
• Contribute to field-service processes and oversee implementation.
• Act as product-level expert for tool-down escalations.
• Manage site field service budgets, expenses and P&L performance.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and supervise installation and qualification technicians and engineers working on EBARA products at the customer site.
• Coordinate installation, qualification and warranty-repair activities through to the handover of fully functional systems in line with OEM specifications.
• Plan team schedules, manage time-off requests and address staffing gaps.
• Monitor project progress, milestones and team KPIs; recommend corrective actions when deadlines or targets are at risk.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete and submitted on time.
• Respond to customer issues and escalations, working with the Account Team and relevant internal teams to resolve them.
• Oversee team safety, ensure EHS requirements are followed and keep safety training up to date.
• Monitor staffing forecasts and support discussions with the customer about contracted headcount.
• Contribute to field-service processes and oversee their implementation.
• Act as a product-level expert for tool-down escalations.
• Manage site-level field service budgets, expenses and P&L performance.
• Support the training and development of direct reports.

YOUR PROFILE
