Job summary

Ward & Burke Construction Ltd. is recruiting Site Engineers / Site Managers for civil works on Thames Water and Southern Water frameworks.

You will support planning, coordination and delivery of design-and-build programmes for water and wastewater projects, working with project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery. Qualifications

• 2-8 years' experience in civil engineering or construction.
• BSc degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong planning, organisational and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out, levelling and surveying works on site.
• Coordinate procurement, materials, subcontractors and plant, and prepare and maintain work schedules.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specifications and project documentation for accuracy, planning and resource requirements.
• Inspect works to ensure compliance with project quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain accurate site records and support site management, including supervision of site labour and subcontractors.
• Undertake temporary works coordination and planning, maintain site activity logs and carry out other site duties as required.
