Job summary

Brightpath Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Agent for a well-established civil engineering contractor in Mayo. You will join the team to manage site operations, coordinate resources and ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to quality standards.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, develop short-term programmes and uphold health and safety, environmental and quality requirements across the project.

Qualifications

• Relevant third-level qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years’ experience in a Site Agent or similar position within civil engineering, infrastructure or construction.
• Proven experience managing site teams, subcontractors and day-to-day construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations and ensure construction activities are carried out safely, organized and productive.
• Direct and coordinate site personnel, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring teams have resources and information to deliver works effectively.
• Develop and manage short-term programmes, coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractor requirements to maintain project momentum.
• Work alongside the Project Manager and wider team to track progress and implement solutions to avoid delays or disruptions.
• Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety, quality and environmental compliance across the site, maintaining all records and documentation.

An established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join their team in Mayo. This is a key position within the project, with responsibility for managing site operations and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with agreed programme and quality standards.

You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, engineering team, subcontractors and other project stakeholders, taking a lead role in coordinating resources, managing site activities and keeping the project on track.
