Job summary

E-Frontiers is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a busy construction project in East Cork. You will set out and survey works on site and read construction drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the programme.

You will maintain site records, liaise with subcontractors and consultants, and support inspections and project coordination. A Civil Engineering degree is required and the salary range is €55,000–€65,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of setting out and construction practices.
• Good technical, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a site team.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works on site.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Checking levels, dimensions and quality of works.
• Liaising with subcontractors, consultants and the site management team.
• Maintaining accurate site records and as-built information.
• Assisting with technical queries, inspections and project coordination.
• Ensuring works are completed safely, accurately and to programme.
