GPC - Global Professional Consultants in Ireland seeks an experienced Site Engineer for Laois-based civil infrastructure projects. You will set out, survey the site, oversee works, and ensure drawings are followed.

Requires a Civil Engineering degree and at least 2 years' experience in Ireland or the UK; proficiency in GPS, total station, AutoCAD and MS Office is essential.

Salary circa €55k–€66k DOE with benefits including Pension, Vehicle/Fuel Card, Phone and Laptop.

Job Description

A leading Civil Engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team in Laois.

They have experience in all aspects of Civil Engineering, Construction, Motorway Service Stations, Site Development, Demolition, Sports Pitch Development and Land Drainage.

The successful candidate will be working on multiple civil infrastructure projects.

Role:

• Setting out
• Overseeing building work
• Site surveying
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Assisting the procurement department
• Assisting the commercial department.
• Completing SHEQ forms
• Tracking site records
• Completing labour and plant returns
• General site civil engineering daily tasks

Requirements:

• Must hold a degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• Must have a minimum 2-years recent experience on Civil Engineeringprojects in Ireland or the UK
• Must have knowledge setting out equipment including GPS, site engineer level, total station
• Excellent MS Office skills
