Job summary

Global Professional Consultants in Dublin is seeking a Site Engineer to join a Main Civil Engineering Contractor on a North Dublin project focused on school/residential development. You will be setting out, surveying, and checking drawings, using AutoCAD and GPS, with responsibilities across procurement, commercial support, and daily site tasks.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and a minimum of 3 years' experience on civil projects in Ireland or the UK, with familiarity with GPS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of recent Civil Engineering experience in Ireland or the UK.
• Experience with GPS, site engineer level, and total station for setting out.

Responsibilities

• Setting out using GPS and total station.
• Site surveying and checking drawings.
• Assist procurement and commercial departments.
• Complete SHEQ forms and maintain site records.
• Track site labour and plant returns.
• Carry out general site civil engineering daily tasks.

A Main Civil Engineering Contractor is hiring a Site Engineer to join their team. Your focus will be to help deliver a high-quality and exciting new school project in North Dublin. The company has a strong reputation for reliability, technical expertise, and project delivery. The successful candidate would be working on a school/residential projects in a great location.

Role:

• Setting out
• Site surveying
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Assisting the procurement department
• Assisting the commercial department.
• Completing SHEQ forms
• Tracking site records
• Completing labour and plant returns
• General site civil engineering daily tasks

Requirements:

• Must be graduating or hold a degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• Must have a minimum 3 -years recent experience on Civil Engineering projects in Ireland or the UK
• Must have knowledge setting out equipment including GPS, site engineer level, total station
