Job summary

ICDS Group in North Kildare is seeking a site supervisor to oversee day-to-day on-site engineering and technical operations for large residential housing schemes. You will set out works, supervise groundworks and civil contractors, and ensure quality and compliance with drawings, specifications and Building Regulations.

Role involves maintaining records, coordinating with the design team, and signing off at key stages such as foundations and frame.

Responsibilities

• Set out works for subcontractors, providing gridlines and levels to groundworks, RC frame, foundations, floor slabs, blockwork, services, and civil works.
• Supervise and monitor groundworks and civil engineering contractors.
• Supervise and monitor concrete frame contractors.
• Quality Control & Compliance
• Monitor and evaluate quality control of subcontractors' work, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and Building Regulations.
• Conduct inspections and sign-offs at key stages (e.g. foundations, DPC, frame)
• Maintain site records and quality assurance documentation, keeping them up to date.
• Maintain drawing registers and communicate revisions promptly to the site team and subcontractors.
• Consult with the design team and consultants to resolve technical queries and discrepancies
