AllSite Staffing is seeking a hands-on Site Engineer for a property developer in Galway. The role targets candidates with 2–5 years' experience to work on student accommodation and residential projects across Galway City & North Galway.

This site-based position offers exposure to multiple projects and a clear pathway to developer-side career development, with an initial 12-month contract and on-site duties across several sites.

Formación

• 2–5 years' experience as a Site Engineer.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Previous experience on residential, commercial or building construction projects.
• Strong setting-out skills and ability to interpret construction drawings.
• Good understanding of construction methods, site operations and quality control.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working across multiple construction sites.
• Full clean driving licence.
• A proactive, practical and hands-on approach to site engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out setting out, surveying and site engineering duties across multiple construction sites.
• Support the day-to-day coordination and delivery of student accommodation and residential developments.
• Work closely with Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractors to ensure works progress in line with construction programmes.
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor works, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Carry out site inspections, quality checks and snagging.
• Assist with resolving technical and construction-related issues on site.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and engineering documentation.
• Liaise with design teams, subcontractors and suppliers to support efficient project delivery.

We are recruiting on behalf of an established property developer seeking a motivated and hands‑on Site Engineer to join their construction team in Galway.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer with 2–5 years' experience to work across a portfolio of live construction projects, including student accommodation & residential developments in Galway City & North Galway.

This is a hands‑on, site‑based position offering excellent exposure to multiple projects and the opportunity to develop your career on the developer side of the construction industry.
