Job summary

Manley is seeking a degree-qualified Construction/Engineering professional for site-based roles in Meath, Louth and North Dublin. You will set out on site, deliver a quality product, and ensure EHS & Q systems are followed.

Reporting to the Senior PM, you’ll engage with design teams, manage information, and coordinate with authorities. Residential experience and 3–5 years on-site are essential, with strong communication, attention to detail, and MS Office skills; a full clean European driving

Responsibilities

• On-site setting out and daily site activities.
• Delivery of a quality product on site.
• Ensure EHS & Q systems are adhered to.
• Ensure drawings, designs and specifications are followed on site.
• Onsite information management from specs to drawings.
• Engage with design teams to resolve site issues.
• Liaise with site management for smooth project operations.
• Coordinate with local authorities as required.
• Material quality management.
• Prepare reports and support site management; assist as acting Site Manager if needed.

Job description

The projects are in the range of €0.5m to €10m and would suit an Engineer interested in progressing their career.

Reporting to: Senior PM

Location: Site based (Meath, Louth, North Dublin)

• The day to day setting out on site
• Delivery of a quality product on site
• Ensure all EHS&Q systems are adhered
• Ensure that the drawing, designs details and specification are fully adhered to on site
• Onsite information management from specification, designs drawings and design issues.
• Engaging with design teams to overcome any problems or issues that arise in the course of construction
• Liaising and support Site Management to ensure the smooth running and management of the project
• Coordinate with the local authorities
• Material quality management
• Assist site management and opportunity to advance to site management / Act as a substitute for the Site Manager when needed
• Prepare reports as required
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise

Suitable candidates should have:

• Degree qualified in Construction / Engineering
• Residential Experience is essential
• Min 3-5 years’ experience
• Be able to communicate well
• Have excellent attention to detail, technical knowledge and practices along with excellent problem-solving skills
• Have clear understanding of current regulations both construction and health and safety
• A full clean European driver’s license (or be progressing to obtaining licence)
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• The ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines
• Excellent numeracy and computer skills
• Professional presence, dress and demeanour
