Job summary

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Site Manager in a main contractor / fit-out environment.
• Proven track record managing large-scale, complex construction projects across sectors.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, cost management and risk mitigation.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from a fit-out point of view on a large scale commercial project.
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met.
• Lead and motivate a project team, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and control expenditure to prevent overruns.
• Provide regular progress updates to clients and senior management, identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues.
• Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes, including sourcing and managing subcontractors.
• Review and approve project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Oversee site inspections and ensure that the project is progressing as planned.

What Skills You Need

• Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex construction projects across various sectors.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, project scheduling, cost management, and risk mitigation.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site management best practices.
• Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
