Job summary

GMC is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join our Leakage team in Ireland, covering Dublin, Louth, Meath, Wicklow & Kildare. The role focuses on delivering projects on time and within budget, with a strong emphasis on health and safety, quality, and client engagement.

The successful candidate will manage multiple site activities, read and amend drawings, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with contracts managers to ensure efficient resource use and smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

• Full clean driving license is essential.
• Qualification in engineering or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience with civils, drainage, or utilities is preferred.
• Ability to read designs and manage site activities.

Responsibilities

• Run multiple projects within urban and rural environments.
• Liaise with Clients and Client Representatives to enable delivery and build relationships.
• Review drawings with a high level of detail and amend designs accordingly.
• Create leadership within the project site team and manage resources.
• Monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery within budget.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and HSQE requirements.
• Liaise with Local Authorities for inspections.
• Provide status reports to Clients and act as first point of contact.
• Quality control of works and efficient admin tasks.
