Job summary

The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is recruiting a Shop Manager for Vincent's Dingle, Co. Kerry. The role oversees all shop operations, leads a team of volunteers and staff, and drives sales to meet targets while upholding SVP’s retail standards and ethos.

You will ensure excellent customer service, manage stock and reports, and maintain health and safety compliance. The position is permanent full-time, offering a stable schedule and the opportunity to contribute to a major Irish charity.

Shop Manager - Dingle (Permanent Full Time)

Location: Dingle, Co. Kerry

Salary range: €37,557.50 per annum; paid monthly

SVP is a large, national, voluntary organisation with extensive experience of working with a diverse range of people who experience poverty and exclusion. SVP employs people to support volunteers in a variety of settings including housing, community care, shops, administration, and other specialist areas.

We are currently looking to recruit a Shop Manager (Permanent Full Time - 37.5 hours per week; 5 days over 6 days) to join our Southwest Retailteam in Vincent's Dingle, Co. Kerry. The Shop Manager of the St Vincent de Paul Charity shop is responsible for maximizing sales, productivity, revenue, and customer satisfaction by efficiently managing the shop in line with SVP’s retail standards, policies, and ethos. They lead and develop a team including volunteers, CE staff, TUS participants, and paid employees, ensuring high standards and business growth. The role includes full ownership of the shop’s operations, compliance with legislation and health and safety, and delivering excellent customer service that reflects the Society's values. Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required

Qualifications & Experience:
