Job summary

Corrib Oil Group, based at our Service Station in Loughrea, Co. Galway, is recruiting a Shift Manager. This full-time role requires flexible hours and hands-on leadership to supervise the store, staff and operations during shifts.

You will ensure opening/closing procedures, uphold health and safety, promote loyalty programs, manage deliveries and respond to customer queries, with training and development of the team. On-site parking is provided.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all duties carried out by the team during shift.
• General supervision of the store and staff and delegation of duties when required.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are carried out efficiently in all areas of the Service Station premises and in accordance with security and other related procedures.
• Comply with and ensure that company policies and procedures are always adhered to within the store.
• Assist in the induction, training, and development of staff in the store.
• Ensure the check outs are always operated efficiently and effectively.
• Promote the Customer Loyalty programme and ensure staff engagement in this process.
• Responsible for stock management, check deliveries against store procedures, and raise supplier queries when necessary.
• Handle customer queries, requests, and complaints according to store procedures, ensuring high standards of customer care.
• Maintain hygiene standards and general presentation of the store.
• Comply with Health & Safety requirements pertaining to the Service Station and report breaches promptly.
• Be responsible for the Service Station in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Perform any other duties as directed by management.
