Job summary

MK Versuchsanlagen, with its Ireland subsidiary MK METALFREE IRELAND Ltd, is expanding its team in Ireland. The role covers service, repairs, and calibrations for existing customers on site, at the Dublin branch, or remotely, plus maintenance and software setup.

You will provide on-site sales support, use technical expertise for proposals, and support during Factory & Site Acceptance Tests. A background in regulated industries and travel willingness are preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer-oriented service mentality required.
• Strong problem-solving across hardware, software and mechanics.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training, including hardware and software topics.
• Basic knowledge of Network/Wi‑Fi is a plus but not required.
• Background in regulated industries (Pharma/Life Sciences/ biotech) preferred.
• Willingness to travel and adapt to different environments.
• Several years of service experience.
• NFQ Level 6+ apprenticeship or 3+ years in a similar role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Duties

• Service, repairs and calibrations for our existing customers on site, but also in-house at our branch in Dublin, Ireland or remote
• Maintenance duties, including troubleshooting, error correction, and other repairs and scheduled maintenance work. This also includes software-based setup and follow-up to service operations
• On-site sales support utilizing technical expertise, including stocktaking, network analysis, the selection of suitable technology and specifications for proposals as well as support during Factory & Site Acceptance Tests

• Error analysis in the areas of application, mechanics and software interests and excites you
• You are interested in continuing education (internal training in areas such as hardware, software, etc.)
• Preferred, but not a prerequisite: you possess basic knowledge of Network/Wi-Fi technology
• Ideally you have a background in regulated industries like Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, BioTech etc.
• You enjoy traveling and are open to other people and cultures
• You have several years of experience in service
• You have completed a relevant vocational qualification, such as an Electrical, Eletronic, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance Apprenticeship (NFQ Level 6 in Ireland), or you bring at least three years of professional experience in a comparable technical role
• You are well-versed in Microsoft Office programs
