Job summary

Cpl Group seeks an Equipment Engineer for an onsite permanent role in Kildare. You will install, qualify and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diverse systems, and travel for training as needed. A shift rotation will apply, with global training weeks initially.

You will work with a team across mechanical, electrical, vacuum and gas systems, interfacing with Irish customers to ensure successful outcomes and safe operations. Travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification (ideally Level 6) or equivalent industry experience.
• Hands-on mechanical, electrical or electronic exposure through previous work or projects.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and diagnose basic challenges.

Responsibilities

• On-site installation, qualification, preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Interface with Irish-based customers to ensure successful outcomes from equipment installations.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Use digital analytics for troubleshooting.

Equipment Engineer

Do you like to troubleshoot, solve complex electro-mechanical problems and enjoy hands on tasks and projects?Our client are the leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce virtually every new chip and advanced display in the world.

If you're successful, you will work as a Field Service Engineer and provide service and maintenance support to customers of clients key equipment, this is an onsite based role. Once you a fully trained - you will be working a 4 cycle shift.

There will be a travel requirement for this position. You will spend several weeks initially at one of the global training sites, before returning back to Ireland

Shift role:

Who we are looking for:

• A Technical qualification (ideally Level 6) or equivalent industry experience is desirable.
• Someone who has practical hands-on work exposure (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic) through previous experience or project work;
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
• Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges
• Basic mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics
• Familiarity with hand tools and their appropriate usage, including digital multimeters
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Full Driving License
• Ability to work 24/7 shift rota

Travel:
