Job summary
Egis is seeking an experienced Civil / Environmental Engineer to join our Water Services team in Ireland. You will lead planning, design and delivery of water and wastewater projects for Uisce Éireann, local authorities, and contractor clients across Ireland.
The role supports a hybrid work model from Dublin, Castlebar, Limerick or Cork, and requires managing projects through all lifecycle stages, ensuring quality, schedule and budget compliance while mentoring staff and coordinating
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland, ICE, or equivalent, or nearing chartership.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in planning, design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Experience delivering projects for Uisce Éireann and/or Irish local authorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Manage projects from feasibility through construction support.
- Mentor junior engineers and graduate staff.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs across civil, structural, process, mechanical, electrical and environmental teams.
