Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a Senior Civil / Environmental Engineer to lead water and wastewater projects across Ireland. You will guide planning, design and delivery for Uisce Éireann, local authorities and contractor clients. Hybrid work from multiple Irish cities is available.

You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, ensure quality and compliance, and contribute to climate-resilient infrastructure. Chartered status or progress toward it is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland/ICE or nearing chartership.
• 7–8 years’ experience in planning, design, and delivery of water & wastewater projects.
• Experience delivering projects for Uisce Éireann and/or Irish local authorities.
• Strong report writing and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects for Uisce Éireann and contractors.
• Manage projects from inception through feasibility, planning, design, tendering and construction support.
• Act as Project Manager, Design Lead, or Discipline Lead on multidisciplinary projects.
• Coordinate inputs from civil, structural, process, mechanical, electrical, environmental and geotechnical teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development and client relationships.
