Job summary

Egis is seeking an experienced Civil/Environmental Engineer to join the Water Services team in Ireland. The role focuses on planning, design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure for Uisce Éireann, with hybrid work from Dublin, Castlebar, Limerick or Cork.

You will manage projects through all lifecycle stages, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and build strong client relationships across Ireland. Chartered status and a minimum of 5 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland, ICE, or equivalent, or nearing chartership.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering projects for Uisce Éireann and/or Irish local authorities.
• Strong understanding of Uisce Éireann standards, specifications, and project delivery processes.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent report writing, technical communication, and project management skills.
• Strong health and safety knowledge in infrastructure projects.
• Full driving licence and willingness to undertake site visits as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects for Uisce Éireann and contractor clients.
• Manage projects from inception through feasibility, planning, preliminary and detailed design, tendering, and construction support.
• Act as Project Manager, Design Lead, or Discipline Lead on multidisciplinary projects.
• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, resources, and risks.
• Ensure deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs across civil, structural, process, mechanical, electrical, environmental and geotechnical disciplines.
