Job summary

Egis is seeking an experienced Senior Civil / Environmental Engineer to join our Water Services team in Ireland. You will lead planning, design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure for Uisce Éireann, local authorities, and contractors, across Ireland.

Hybrid work from Dublin, Castlebar, Limerick or Cork is supported. You will manage projects through feasibility to construction, lead multidisciplinary inputs, and mentor junior staff while ensuring high standards and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland, ICE, or nearing chartership.
• Minimum 7/8 years' experience in planning, design and delivery of water and wastewater projects.
• Proven experience delivering projects for Uisce Éireann and Irish local authorities.
• Strong understanding of Uisce Éireann standards, specifications and project delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of water and wastewater projects for Uisce Éireann and contractor clients.
• Manage projects from feasibility through detailed design and construction support.
• Act as Project Manager, Design Lead, or Discipline Lead on multidisciplinary projects.
• Develop and manage programmes, budgets, resources and risks.
• Ensure deliverables are on time, within budget and to required quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development.
