Job summary

Uisce Éireann is seeking a Wastewater Network Maintenance and Repair Jetting HGV Senior Operative to support the national wastewater network operations. The role involves routine and reactive maintenance, responding to alarms, and safe operation of a heavy goods vehicle from the depot.

You will oversee on-site activities, ensure safe working conditions, and coordinate with the Maintenance Team Lead, contributing to high-quality service delivery for communities across Ireland.

Qualifications

• Secondary level education or equivalent work experience.
• Full, clean Irish category B & C/HGV driving licence.
• Experience in water industry or utilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undertake routine and reactive maintenance across the wastewater network safely.
• Respond to alarms and resolve issues at network assets.
• Operate and maintain a 20-tonne+ HGV unit from the depot.
• Supervise work on site and manage equipment, materials, and paperwork.
• Support health and safety activities and traffic management on site.
• Coordinate daily activities with maintenance team and report data.
