Job summary

Uisce Éireann in Ireland seeks a Wastewater Network Senior Operator to support the on-site operation of the wastewater network. You will lead teams, perform routine maintenance, and ensure health and safety throughout daily activities.

The role requires a valid Irish driving licence, strong customer focus, and knowledge of water networks. It offers a full-time on-site position with opportunities for growth within the asset operations function.

Qualifications

Two years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Full, clean Irish driving licence (B & C) is required.
Experience supervising teams with a health & safety focus preferred.
Knowledge of water/wastewater networks is advantageous.
Ability to work in environments that may be hazardous with health checks.

Responsibilities

Supervise operation of water/wastewater network and coordinate routine maintenance.
Operate 3.5+ tonne vehicles and a 20+ tonne vactor unit.
Monitor chemical dosing and support compliance and sampling activities.
Record, report incidents and update relevant systems and logs.
Engage with customers, stakeholders and third parties as needed.
Ensure permits to work and health & safety procedures are followed.
Provide cover for other water operations teams as required.
