Job summary

Egis Group is seeking an experienced NEC Accredited Project Manager to lead in Egis Transportation’s PMCM team in Ireland, focusing on business development, bid leadership, and major transport projects. The Associate Director will provide strategic leadership, commercial oversight, and drive profitable project delivery.

The role requires overseeing complex programmes, leading multidisciplinary teams, and advancing client relationships while ensuring compliance with Irish and UK standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or similar desirable.
• Chartered status or professional accreditation (e.g., RICS, APM, CIOB, ICE, PMP) desirable.
• Project Management certification (e.g. NEC, PMP) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts and pursue new opportunities within existing and new client accounts.
• Act as senior point of contact for key clients and stakeholders; build long-term relationships for repeat business.
• Lead bid management, govern tender inputs, and ensure compliance with client requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Oversee delivery governance, risk management, programme control, and reporting; ensure on-time, on-budget, quality delivery.
• Mentor multidisciplinary project teams, support recruitment and talent development, and promote best practices and continuous improvement.
