Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Group is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead planning and design of transport schemes across Ireland, based in Dublin or Dundalk. You will coordinate civil design work, liaise with stakeholders and support tender bids, building on strong technical and client-facing skills.

The role requires a degree in engineering (Level 8/9) with Chartered Engineer status or near Chartership, plus experience in road/rail and public transport projects.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Level 8/9) required or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer status or close to Chartership.
• Experience in consultancy and/or construction environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and design of road, rail, public transport and active travel projects across Ireland.
• Provide input to statutory processes (EIAR, CPO) and procurement steps.
• Prepare contract documents, administer contracts, supervise construction and manage commercial aspects.
