Job summary

AECOM is seeking an ambitious Senior Engineer/Project Manager to join its Dublin Transportation team. You will lead multidisciplinary infrastructure projects across roads, rail, and public transport, coordinating design delivery and managing client and stakeholder relationships to meet programme, budget and quality targets.

You will work in a hybrid model with opportunities for professional development, mentoring, and exposure to major national programmes, while advancing towards Chartered

Qualifications

• Irish National Framework Qualification Level 8 or higher in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status desirable or in progress.
• 3–5 years of design and delivery experience on major roads/public transport projects.
• Strong knowledge of Irish and European design standards, planning processes, and statutory requirements.
• Experience preparing technical reports, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate design packages on complex infrastructure programmes.
• Lead on a diverse range of major infrastructure projects across roads, rail, and public transport.
• Ensure project deliverables meet AECOM quality standards within time and budget.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Maintain client, local authority, and stakeholder communications and rapport.
