Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Engineer / Project Manager for pavement projects based in Dublin or Dundalk. The role covers planning, design and delivery of road, asset management and active travel schemes across Ireland, with responsibility for design input, procurement, and contract administration.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree (Level 8/9) and Chartered Engineer status, with strong knowledge of Irish pavement standards and NEC contracts.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree at Level 8/9 or higher, with Chartered Engineer status preferred.
• Strong experience in transport project planning and design within Ireland.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage budgets.
• Experience in tender bid preparation and client relationship development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design road, asset management, public transport and active travel projects.
• Provide input to design development, procurement, and contract documentation.
• Lead project teams through feasibility, design, and construction supervision phases.
