Job summary

Unipharmedtech is seeking an experienced IT Operations and Security specialist to lead onsite and remote support during the warehouse go-live. You will manage Windows, AD, Azure AD, patching, device compliance, security incident response, and automation with PowerShell, collaborating with security and warehouse teams.

Extensive experience in IT security operations, vulnerability management, and incident response is required, along with strong troubleshooting and communication skills to work with

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience supporting Windows, AD, and Azure AD environments.
  • Strong background in patch management and device compliance (SCCM, InTune).
  • Experience in IT security operations, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills under pressure.
  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate with technical, non-technical, and security stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead onsite and remote IT support during warehouse go-live.
  • Oversee Windows, AD, and Azure AD environments, ensuring security best practices.
  • Manage device setup, patching, and software deployments with SCCM, InTune, Auto Patch.
  • Respond quickly to incidents and service requests, prioritising security and continuity.
  • Monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities with security operations teams.
  • Document IT infrastructure, changes, incidents, and security actions.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff, IT and security teams, and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery testing for warehouse systems.
  • Automate operational and security tasks using PowerShell scripts.
  • Participate in security incident response and contribute to security posture improvement.

Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead onsite and remote IT support during the go‑live period of the warehouse opening.
  • Oversee and maintain Windows, Active Directory, and Azure AD environments, ensuring security best practices are followed.
  • Manage device setup, patching, and software deployment using SCCM, InTune, and Auto Patch.
  • Respond rapidly to incidents and service requests, prioritising security and operational continuity.
  • Monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities, working closely with security operations teams.
  • Document IT infrastructure, changes, incident resolutions, and security actions.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff, the wider IT and security teams, and vendors to resolve technical and security issues.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery testing for warehouse systems.
  • Automate operational and security tasks using PowerShell scripts.
  • Participate in security incident response and contribute to continuous improvement of security posture.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Extensive experience supporting and securing Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Azure AD environments.
  • Strong background in patch management, device compliance (SCCM, InTune), and endpoint security.
  • Demonstrated experience in IT security operations, including vulnerability management and incident response.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and analytical skills in high‑pressure environments.
  • Effective communicator, able to work collaboratively with technical, non‑technical, and security stakeholders.
  • Experience with warehouse, logistics, or large‑scale operational IT environments is a plus.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting ability.
  • Experience with security tools such as Qualys, Defender, or similar platforms.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior IT operations/support or security operations role.
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Relevant Microsoft and/or security certifications are an advantage.
