Job summary

EY in Ireland (Dublin/Cork) is seeking a Senior Consultant to support Technology M&A and strategy transactions. Join EY-Parthenon’s market-leading Deal Management team to advise clients on due diligence, carve-out, integration and value creation across the deal spectrum.

You will lead multi-disciplinary project workstreams, engage senior stakeholders, and apply cutting-edge tech insights, including AI and cloud trends, to drive client value in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of professional services/consulting experience covering IT due diligence, separation and divestiture, post-merger integration, operating-model design, and value creation analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience of producing high calibre reports, papers, presentations and thought leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to manage workstreams, teams, senior stakeholders, quality, risk, budgets and transaction timetables.
• Relevant education background typically in computer science, information technology, engineering, informatics, data science or a related discipline.
• Proven experience across one or more of the following areas: Systems and architecture review, Infrastructure analysis, Technology operating model, Cybersecurity review and assessment, Technology financials.

Responsibilities

• Lead/contribute to technology M&A projects such as technology diligence, tech-focused separation/integration planning, and value creation/cost improvement.
• Assist in aspects of deal origination, including pitches and presentations, and working in project teams comprising other colleagues.
• Work in client engagement teams executing Strategy and Transactions services that support key decision makers in developing and executing technology strategies for transactions.
• Demonstrate strong business and technical acumen on projects to help us drive value for clients.
• Continuously upskill your capabilities and be well-versed in the latest emerging technologies and trends including AI, cloud computing etc and their application in driving value for our clients/EY teams.
• Contribute to practice development initiatives, act as role model for junior team members, and support learning, recruitment and training responsibilities.
