Job summary

Abbott Ireland Diagnostic Division Sligo is seeking a skilled project and process specialist to ensure the plant meets quality, service, regulatory and safety goals through technical support of DRO and BRO products.

The role requires managing complex long-duration projects, driving product improvements, leading risk management and design control, and mentoring teams while collaborating across Abbott sites and with regulatory bodies to uphold high standards.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in a relevant discipline.
• 4–6 years of related work experience; advanced degree may offset.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and conduct complex long duration projects and investigations.
• Identify opportunities for significant operational, process or product improvements.
• Design control and risk management to balance compliance and business risk.
• Technical support across ADD Sites, TPMs and functions to resolve issues.
• Share knowledge and mentor others to enable timely resolution of issues.
• Provide scientific leadership and direction to project teams to meet timelines.
