Job summary

Abbott Ireland is seeking a Technical Operations Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment. You will drive product performance, yield and efficiency, balancing timelines, costs and quality while ensuring regulatory compliance and successful product introductions.

You will coach and develop your team, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and implement data-driven improvements across processes and equipment in Donegal Town, Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to improve product performance, yield and manufacturing efficiency.
• Own and deliver complex projects from concept through execution within time, cost and quality.
• Support introduction of new products into manufacturing and scale-up processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve product, process and testing challenges.
• Drive validation activities including protocols, trials and reporting across equipment and materials.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards (FDA, BSI, internal policies).
• Develop and coach teams with mentoring and development opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement with data-driven solutions.
