Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Technical Program Manager who will lead a team of TPMs and PGMs to deliver highly complex, cross-cutting programs. You will hire, coach, and grow a team of TPMs, while also contributing hands-on as a TPM on the most challenging initiatives.

Ideal candidates have extensive management experience, deep engineering/program management background, and a track record of scaling programs across multiple teams and time zones, with a focus on thought leadership and strategic execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience including managing managers.
• 8+ years of software engineering, systems engineering or technical product/program management experience.
• Experience growing talent through coaching, mentoring, and career conversations.
• Experience driving technical programs from ideation to delivery at scale.
• Experience leading across multiple teams with stakeholders in different time zones.
• Strong critical thinking and thought leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and manage high-performing teams across locations, with coaching and career development.
• Define long-term vision and multi-year strategy for company-wide programs with product and engineering leadership.
• Define success criteria, delivery plans, track risks, and ensure successful execution of complex programs.
• Improve team communication and operating practices to boost productivity and efficiency.
