Job summary

Mastercard in Ireland is seeking a Product Manager - Technical II for our Switching Solutions team. You will translate business needs into technical requirements and collaborate with product, engineering and project management to deliver secure, reliable payment switching capabilities.

You will own requirements lifecycle, work across agile or waterfall methods, and help drive delivery from inception to production while maintaining a customer voice.

Qualifications

• Understanding of how payments are processed (four-party model) and Mastercard's role.
• Experience from inception to production: requirements, design, testing, implementation, post-production.
• Ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Strong stakeholder relationships with product, engineering and executives.
• Experience leading projects: hosting calls, setting agendas, documenting notes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages and adapt to changes.
• Familiarity with PM-T best practices and sharing lessons learned with the team.
• Experience in agile or waterfall project methodology.
• Continuously seek new ways to solve problems and create efficiencies.
• Ability to wear multiple hats and adapt roles as needed.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for translating business needs into both business and functional requirements with Mastercard teams.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering to gather estimates, design, and drive delivery of requirements.
• Act as the voice of the customer when writing requirements and contributing to technical documentation.
• Monitor delivery through testing, production, and post-production.
