Job summary

Mastercard in Ireland is seeking a Product Manager - Technical II for our Switching Solutions team. You will translate business needs into technical requirements and collaborate with product, engineering and project management to deliver secure, reliable payment switching capabilities.

You will own requirements lifecycle, work across agile or waterfall methods, and help drive delivery from inception to production while maintaining a customer voice.

Qualifications

• Understanding of how payments are processed (four-party model) and Mastercard's role.
• Experience from inception to production: requirements, design, testing, implementation, post-production.
• Ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Strong stakeholder relationships with product, engineering and executives.
• Experience leading projects: hosting calls, setting agendas, documenting notes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages and adapt to changes.
• Familiarity with PM-T best practices and sharing lessons learned with the team.
• Experience in agile or waterfall project methodology.
• Continuously seek new ways to solve problems and create efficiencies.
• Ability to wear multiple hats and adapt roles as needed.

Responsibilities

Overview

The Switching Solutions team is looking for a passionate, collaborative and experienced Product Manager - Technical II that will provide innovative, secure, and reliable solutions for core Mastercard transaction switching systems.

Role

The ideal candidate is passionate about connecting business with technology, highly motivated, and an innovator who embraces, adopts and studies the latest technology trends.

In this position you will:

• Be responsible for working with various product teams across Mastercard to understand their business needs and translate to business and functional requirements
• Work cross-functionally with project managers and engineering teams to gather estimates, create designs and drive the delivery of business and functional requirements
• Act as the voice of the customer when writing requirements, reviewing designs and contributing to technical and product documentation
• Continuously monitor the delivery of requirements through their entire lifecycle (i.e. testing, production, post-production)
