Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Tax Account Executive to drive growth through existing and new Stripe Tax customers. You will collaborate with core sales, marketing, product marketing, and product teams to develop deep product knowledge and execute strategic deals.

You will lead in-depth product discussions with customers, build and execute go-to-market strategies, and manage renewals while expanding adoption of Stripe Tax.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of sales or prospecting experience at a technology company.
• Owning a direct sales quota with experience closing new business or expanding existing users.
• Able to build collaborative relationships with business partners.
• Self-starter capable of driving results with limited supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills for in-person multi-stakeholder meetings.
• Proven ability to lead complex negotiations with bespoke agreements.
• Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft cross-stakeholder solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and retain users to achieve and over perform on target and KPIs.
• Lead discussions with our largest existing and prospective customers.
• Contribute to the development of go-to-market playbooks with product, marketing, sales, and technical services.
• Understand and articulate the value propositions of Stripe Tax to key stakeholders, including technical and financial teams and executives.
• Develop a deep understanding of global indirect tax requirements of potential customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, guiding them through the sales process and successful Stripe Tax implementation.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and customer success to ensure client satisfaction and long-term growth.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends in data, analytics, and reporting to identify opportunities and keep Stripe ahead.
• Identify and pursue expansion opportunities with existing Stripe Tax users to drive adoption of additional tools.
• Lead renewal conversations leveraging evolving business needs.
