Job summary

Stripe in Dublin is seeking a software engineer to join the Stripe Tax capabilities team, building services and platforms that power tax calculations for millions of Stripe users. You will own end-to-end features, collaborating with product, design and engineering to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

You will work with autonomy, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and help drive both short- and long-term goals while aligning with Stripe’s engineering standards and security practices,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry software engineering experience.
• Strong coding skills in any programming language.
• Strong collaboration skills and autonomy.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of projects with limited oversight.
• Translate complex customer needs into opportunities and impact.
• Collaborate with product, design, infra, marketing and operations.
• Debug production issues and improve reliability.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term goals.
• Establish and uphold best practices in engineering and security.
