Verizon in Ireland is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Digital, MarTech & Research to lead the global commercial strategy for marketing technology, AI, data analytics, and market research portfolios. The role blends business leadership with advanced negotiations and AI integration, in a hybrid work setting.

You will build modern commercial models, manage an Ireland-based sourcing team, and partner with CMO, CIO/CTO, and IT leaders to maximize value while safeguarding data privacy

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Marketing, Finance, or a relevant discipline.
• Proven experience in Strategic Sourcing, Commercial Management, or Procurement, with a proven track record in technology, software, or digital marketing category management.
• Direct experience managing people or leading project-based sourcing teams.
• Hands-on experience negotiating and managing MarTech, SaaS, AdTech, Data, or Market Research contracts with strong engagement across business leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Valid right to work in Ireland.

Responsabilités

• Executive & Business Leadership Collaboration: Partnering directly with the CMO, VPs of MarTech, Digital Growth, Consumer Insights, and IT leadership to ensure digital technology and research sourcing roadmaps mirror business strategy, customer experience, and revenue goals.
• Team Leadership & Development: Recruiting, mentoring, and leading a team of sourcing professionals; setting clear operational goals, conducting performance evaluations, and building tailored development plans to cultivate a high-performing category team.
• Category Strategy & MarTech Evolution: Leading and owning multi-year global sourcing strategies for MarTech platforms, digital media technology, consumer research tools, and data analytics. Restructuring category frameworks to support AI, ML, and omni-channel delivery.
• Modern Commercial Models & AI Integration: Partnering with Marketing, Data, IT, and Finance leadership to co-create fit-for-purpose, usage-based, or outcome-based commercial models; elevating digital content and insights work by embedding AI to maximize value.
• Breakthrough Partner Management: Driving strategic relationships across MarTech platforms, research houses, and ad tech providers; positioning tech partners to champion solutions and breakthrough work.
• Contracting & Complex Negotiations: Leading high-stakes negotiations for enterprise SaaS agreements, API licenses, data feed subscriptions, SOWs, and research panel contracts; coordinating with Legal and InfoSec.
• Commercial Performance & Benchmarking: Establishing performance tracking, benchmarking, and budget management alongside Marketing Finance.
• Process Modernization: Streamlining procurement lifecycles through sourcing tools and AI contracting templates.
• Travel: Occasional travel may be required to support partner reviews and business alignment.
