Verizon in Ireland is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager in Carrier Management to lead commercial sourcing and negotiate third-party network access services supporting Verizon’s international operations. You will work with network operators and internal stakeholders to optimize costs and terms while ensuring reliable service.

The role requires strong financial analysis, deal negotiation experience, and the ability to drive bids from planning through to recommendation in a hybrid work environment

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial sourcing, strategic procurement, carrier management or a related commercial role.
• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing supplier relationships.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including the ability to assess pricing, compare options and explain commercial trade-offs.
• Experience leading competitive bids, renewals or contract negotiations from planning through to recommendation.
• Confidence working with technical and non-technical stakeholders and turning business requirements into a clear commercial approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present concise recommendations to senior leaders.
• Good organisation and follow-through, with the ability to manage several priorities and keep work moving.
• Sound judgement, attention to detail and a practical approach to resolving problems.
• Experience in telecommunications or network services would be an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Leading negotiations with network operators on pricing, contract terms, renewals, and amendments.
• Identifying and delivering savings opportunities across third-party network access spend.
• Running competitive bids, including developing sourcing approaches, evaluating proposals, and documenting recommendations.
• Analyzing pricing, demand, contract terms, and service requirements to build practical commercial options and business cases.
• Managing a portfolio of sourcing initiatives, tracking actions, decisions, risks, approvals, and expected benefits through to completion.
• Building effective working relationships with network operators and internal partners to resolve commercial issues
