AMD in Ireland is seeking a Senior Staff Silicon Design Engineer to join the SerDes team working on SerDes products up to 200+Gbps. The role emphasizes development of high-speed analog circuits with low power, covering verification and post-layout considerations.

You will collaborate with a world-class team, engage in design reviews, and support silicon bring-up and debug across multiple sites and time zones. A strong background in analog IC design is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Electronic/Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with high-speed analog circuit design is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiar with layout floor planning and post-layout verification is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Analog circuit design of SerDes PHY blocks to meet block-level specs.
• Verify circuit designs to ensure performance and reliability using industry standard tools.
• Present design progress to peers.
• Participate in design reviews to identify issues and learn.
• Collaborate with SerDes circuit team members at other sites.
