Job summary

Apple in Ireland is seeking an IC Designer to develop high-performance AMS circuits for SerDes PHY, evaluating topologies and driving layout-aware design across cross-functional teams. You will work on circuit blocks like bandgap, LDOs, amplifiers, ADCs/DACs, and clock generation with a focus on power, performance, and area.

The role requires deep knowledge of analog mixed-signal design, high-speed serial links, and experience with CAD tools for design, verification, and characterization.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of analog mixed-signal design with high-speed serial links.
• Experience designing analog blocks (Bandgap, LDOs, amplifiers, comparators, ADCs, DACs).
• Knowledge of timing closure, LMS-based adaptive loops, and digitally assisted analog design.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance AMS circuits for SerDes PHY.
• Evaluate topologies to meet product requirements (Rx, CDR, Tx, bias generator).
• Drive mask design to implement layout views; coordinate with SOC teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IP quality and design accuracy.
