Ensure all residents are treated with dignity, privacy, and respect, recognising and supporting their individuality.
Understand and implement the Named Nurse model, ensuring all related documentation is accurately maintained.
Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and visitors, providing support and compassion at all times, particularly during bereavement.
Ensure full compliance with Healthcare policies and procedures across the team.
Maintain clear, concise, and accurate records in line with legislation and Healthcare standards.
Ensure strict adherence to policies governing the control, administration, and safe custody of medicines.
Demonstrate knowledge of HIQA standards and actively participate in the inspection process.
Ensure that all resident admissions are completed correctly, with all required documentation fully and accurately prepared.
Liaise with healthcare professionals to support safe and coordinated discharge planning, ensuring continuity of care for each resident.
First-level nursing registration.
Hold an active NMBI PIN and demonstrate a strong passion for Gerontological Care .
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to make sound and effective decisions.
Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others and work independently.
Capable of working well within a team and fostering a positive team environment.
Only candidates holding Stamp 4, Stamp 1G, Irish citizenship, EU/EEA citizenship, or any status granting full work rights in Ireland are eligible to apply.
Guaranteed hours contracts (full-time & part-time)
€1,000 tax-free sign-on bonus under the Small Benefit Scheme for new nurses, payable on completion of 6 months with Healthcare.
